Place Cadets at Phillipstown Hub was a joint category winner at the Resene Pride of Place Awards for its innovative child-led approach to design. Over two weeks, tamariki aged 5 to 11 worked as co-designers and researchers to create a modular play structure - strengthening their sense of belonging, place and manaakitanga for their community.
